The nominees for the 2024 Grammy Awards ceremony were announced on Friday morning.

And while unstoppable popstar Taylor Swift has bagged six nominations, including Song of the Year and Best Pop Performance, and SZA has dominated the awards with an impressive nine, only five Brits have received nominations. 

Spanning across pop, rock, dance and alternative genres British artists Dua Lipa, Arctic Monkeys and Calvin Harris have been announced as nominees at the prestigious music awards.

British pop superstar Dua Lipa released the song of the summer with her hit Dance The Night from the Barbie blockbuster film. 

And the singer, 28, who also starred in the film, is nominated for Song of the Year with the chart topper which reached number one in the UK charts back in August
